He was first Indian prime minister from non-Indian national congress, he  was a poeter and writer. He was the  founding member of Bharatiya Jana sangh(BJS) of which he was the only person who have been elected 10 time to loksabha and twice to Rajya Sabha and he also served as member of parliament BJP merged with other parties to form Janata party and won general election and then he became the minister of External affair. Later former member of BJs formed BJP with Vajpayee its first president and he also bought an diplomatic relation with Pakistan under he tried to restore relation through engagement with president and Modi declare Vajpayee birth day on 25th December would be as good government Day. He was honoured by Bharat Ratna by president. Later he died.
